Guests FAQs

Q:  How much does Toastmaster's cost?

A:  Bloody Orators only charges the base membership fees which are $27 twice a year (April and September).  Other clubs charge a few extra to help support their club.  New members are charged an additional one time only $20 to cover the materials needed to be in the club such as the Competant Communication Manual and set up fees.

Q:  I'm afraid to talk in front of people, will you be able to help me with that?

A:  Of course, that's the whole point of the club.  We want to help you learn to deal with the common issues of talking in public, such as "butterflys in the stomach", vocal variety, hand gestures and organizational skills.

Q:  How do I get to a meeting?

A:  Contact our Vice President of Public Relations at BloodyOrators@gmail.com There he will give you directions and instructions to our building and will be able to answer any other questions that you have!

Members FAQs

Q:  How can I get a mentor to help me with my public speaking skills?

A:  Our more advanced members will offer their mentoring skills to any of our members.  All you have to do is ask either our President or VP of Education and they'll set you up with an appropriate mentor.

Q:  How do members sign up for roles for the meeting?

A:  A week before the meeting, either the President or the VP of Education will send out a email to all the members of our club with a list of who is already signed up for a particular role and what needs to be filled.   All you have to do in order to volunteer for a role is reply to all (so the other members know too) stating which role you would like to fill.
